Aether is another spelling of Ether which is a substance which makes up space or something of the sort.

So an Etherhole is almost a void in space of a black hole.

I came up with this back in Middle school and it's just stuck since.

Mine came from the fact that (dating myself here) I used to play Quake on a mac (a 6100/66, then a 9600/233) against all the PC guys. My mac's used the RISC processor, so I chose RISC_Taker as my name. I used to also be known occasionally for Counter Strike when I ran the [ZED] server Haunted_Hizouse as Satans_Sword. Maybe I killed some of you bitchez.

The short version:
Epyon is a robot from an anime I liked. MX is from a song I like by Andrew Bird.

The really, really long version:
Back in high school I was into anime, in particular a show called Gundam Wing. Epyon was the coolest big mech on the show.



When I moved into my dorm freshman year, I didn't know anyone, but I did know how to game. I found a bunch of guys playing Halo and needed a callsign. So I picked Epyon. These guys, who are my best friends five years later, still call me Epyon. Because they learned Epyon before they learned my real name.

I used to be EpyonV, but I cancelled my XBL account when I took a break from gaming. When I got my 360, EpyonV and Epyon V were taken. There's a song I like by a guy named Andrew Bird called "MX Missiles" (an MX missile, also called the peacemaker, is an ICMB). So I picked MX. As Keezy pointed out, MX is also a moniker used by Macromedia for their design apps, but that's purely a coincidence.

Mine is pretty easy to figure out if your a baseball fan. In the 70's growing up in Utah just outside of Salt Lake City I started following the Yankees. Back in them days we didn't even have a pro team in any sport there. This was prior to the Jazz showing up. ( We did have the Utah Stars of the ABA though for a little while) I spent alot of time with my Dad watching the Yankees on T.V. and thats how it started.
As for the 25, it has usually been my # when I play softball. Also Jim Thome wears that # and he is one of my favorite players ( even though he's not a Yankee )

I happened to be one of the beta testers for Xbox live, so I got early dibs on "Lord Sam". I then got all of my gaming friends to sign up and soon we had all six of us with "Lord" + our first name.

Now, we looked really cool when we all got together and played Halo 2 on the same team. The other teams must have been a little worried at first, thinking that if we all had the same prefix to our gamertags that we were very organized and excellent players.

Not so much.

We would get blown out, laughing that whole time, and usually fighting each other over weapons while someone from the other team would get both of us with the rocket launcher. Good times.

Well I used to Go by The O'est G, People thougt I was a Trying to be a gangsta cause i said i was from Hayward(Right next to oakland) and in counter-Strike they would talk so much trash. I Tried to explain that EVERYONE called me G (My Grandma started it) for short cause some people I guess got intimidated and took offense when i said my Real name was GehaD and in real life they ask to see my ID.

so XBL came out and I don't want to hear BS about trying to be a Gangsta cause of my name being O'est G, I Named Profile AlphaQ GehaD, Some people don't understand what AlphaQ is (I'll **** You). Then the GehaD part is my real name, Jokingly when i play Gears I'll Say I'm F@#%ing you Holy War Style which people think is Suicide of course. So I run in and Grenade Tag or Shotty.

the misconception with my name is the meaning, It is ONE WHO STANDS WITH GOD. Not Holy War, but when people ask I just Reply Yes its holy war cause im tired of Explaining. (Thanks to Propaganda, Bin Ladin and Hussein, who made Islam look like a Terrorist religion)
