Ok, so it's not really my name. You've got me.

If you ask DangerKitty, she'll tell you she made up Wondermonkey. She'd also tell you that if you eat pop rocks and drink soda your stomach will explode, so I wouldn't bank on her for facts.

Wondermonkey was a character in a story that we wrote together, way back when. It was about a Super Hero monkey, who had two sidekick monkeys - Tito and Boogers - and one vengeful nemesis, Sir Dragshisasstowipeit. The story spawned many spin-offs, one which documented the love affair Sir D. had with his lover and eventual wife, Mrs. Garret.

The first story was "Wonder Monkey 2000" because it was written in 99 and it was super cool to exploit the coming Y2k, so we did. After that, it just stuck. Everything became Wondermonkey2k, except my AIM name, which is the original Wondermonkey2000.

Tito and Boogers eventually perished though, so their names were never used for anything. Turns out the tin-foil hats they wore couldn't really protect them from radiation like they thought. Stupid monkeys.

First of all, I did invent Wondermonkey. I vividly remember sitting in the computer lab at the student center of The College of New Jersey bored between classes and I drafted the beginning of what is sure to become the great American Novel: the first ever adventure of Wondermonkey and his quest to save the universe.

So those of you planning on attending the 2007 PGL (crap, I already forgot the acronym).. uh event, you can hear the story. It's really not all that crazy, just not something I can post here!
