Windows XP themes

Can anyone recommend a good place to find XP themes that don't have advertisements or spyware loaded in them? Maybe I'm asking too much for a truly free download.

the zune one is really cool. I use that on my windows boot on my iMac. I think you can get it directly from zune.net or whatever!

Although I think the Zune one may have a memory leak or something. I was having all kinds of issues, I finnally uninstalled in and everything was good again. Bizzare...

really?? I have the zune desktop theme on two of my computers, actually... and haven't ever had a problem.

I currently have the zune one which I like. I get bored quickly however and like to change it a couple times a month. I can change the firefox theme on my computer at home which gives me some variety, but I am stuck using IE at work as some programs won't work with firefox.

The Zune one has been updated. Not sure when. I uninstalled it and reinstalled with a fresh download. A lot of the GUIs menus on the left side of windows and such are different. Much cooler now.

What are your thoughts on Vista? We're looking to replace our notebook, and I know that if we go with XP Pro (the old one only had home on it) Vista will be available as an upgrade. I usually shy away from a new OS for a little while at least, but some of the features of Vista look pretty cool.

I have the beta still on my previous desktop and I loved using it. It made some really nice improvements to the user interface as well as the style. I would likely look to make sure your computer can handle windows vista and more specifically windows vista premium, so you can utilize the graphical increases that come with it! Like, for example, the Aero scheme is pretty cool!!

I've got it here on my office computer and I'm loving it! There are many large changes that are really cool (graphically and otherwise), but there are also so many little changes that make things so much easier to accomplish.

One example is when using windows explorer. If you drill down into an area on your hard drive an realize you want to go to another area, there is a little drop down arrow up at the top where you can instanly access the prior directories. Very cool feature that I've used quite a bit in the last 2 weeks since I installed Vista.

The sidebar thing is cool - and will be cooler once more gadgets are created.

Graphically there are loads of enhancements - with the aero glass dealio and the little enhancements, the OS itself looks really cool.

As far as performance, it seems to run a bit faster than XP did before on the same machine. I'm normally not an early adopter, but I loaded it up and am really, really liking it. I give it a thumbs up.
