My Chiefs are toast.

Man I've been a Chiefs fan since 93 and it's not been easy. The past couple season we've had the top offense in the NFL but no defense. So this year we finally have a decent Defense, ranked 12th in the NFL and our Offense goes to hell. Our playoff hopes went down the tube last night when we couldn't beat the Chargers, a game we could have easily won it our offense was in sync. I think if we kept Huard in instead of letting Green come back at QB we would have won that game, and the last two we also lost. I don't get it, I think next season I'm just going to be a football fan and not a fan of one team. I can't take the disappointment anymore.

The Chargers offense was hurting last night too. That's a testament to your D tho as they really had our QB off his game. Gotta give some props to Lt though as without him we probably would have lost.

"Probably would have lost?" Peench, without LT your team goes 4-12. That dude is amazing. He's honestly one of my favorite players, because I really respect the way he plays the game and conducts himself on and off field (unlike your 'roid poppin' freak Merriman; that guy going to the Pro Bowl sickens me).

LT is also one of my favorite players, he really has a lot of class on and off the field. Players like Shawn Merriman make me sick.

Well well, it's turns out the toast is not yet burnt. The Chiefs made it into the post season and now it's all new again. We also got the best possible match up in the 1st round. Larry Johnson will run wild against the colt 32nd ranked run defense. Should be an interesting game.

What a strange season for your team -- some games they looked absolutely hideous, and some games they looked unstoppable. Good luck in the playoffs. With my two teams out (Steelers and Phins), I'm not sure who I'm cheering for. I'd like to Peyton finally get a ring; however, I agree with you -- I think their D is going to kill them, and I'm not sure they'll get past your team this weekend.

NPYZZ, I have a friend who is a die hard Jets fan. By the end of the year last year, he wanted to rip Herm's eyeballs out. Nothing made him happier than when he went to KC.

I'd like to say sorry about your loss, but there's something inside of me that gets all tingly when the Chefs or Raiduhs lose. I've got to give mad props to your d though; they really played well for the majority of the game. I can't remember the last time that I saw a game where a team didn't get a first down until the 3rd quarter that wasn't being played by 8 year olds.
