Hell yeah! That Pacer is right up there with the Gremlin
Great idea...name a car after a fictional character that causes mechanical failures. Right up there with selling Nova's in Mexico...
If you dont speak Spanish, Nova or No va means wont go. Its a good story even if it is not true.

| My old ride - dang P.O.S. - may it rust in pieces. At least it was fast (when it wasn't in the shop):
And my new ride (which I have grown to love dearly):
Wizzle, I'm diggin your celica! How do you like it? What all have you done to it. Here's an old project car of mine:
I put so much time and money into this thing. It was street legal and pretty dang fast. I had the intercooler painted to further the sleeper role. Man was that car fun - my wife hated it tho! haha.

Don't you live in Cali??? Street legal my ass! Even the cars right off the car lots in Cali, are not street legal, according to your great state's legislation (ok, maybe that is a bit of an exageration, but Cali does seem to have some pretty strict guidelines that are followed to the "T"!)

My dad and I have a truck project going right now, basically taking a body off of a 85 chevy k10 and putting it on the frame of a 78 k20. I think this is about the 4th time the truck has had body swaps. After that, my dad picked up a 57 Chevy Bel-Air a few months ago, this will be the next thing to be worked on.

Sweet man, why the body swap for the truck? Better frame, avoiding smog, or just because you can? As for the 57...I'm jealous. I grew up a Ford guy (first car was a 65 Mustang), but a 57 chevy... Now that is a sweet ride.

I'm curious. The Benz was a POS? Having never owned one, but heard much...
I always heard "They built the first car, and they'll build the last". I like that BMW though, really nice looking, even for a modern vehicle. Most cars today are too generic for me unless your talking Pontiac Solstice, or a Saturn Sky...

RT | The body swap was just for an upgrade, my dad had the 85 before he retired he worked at a cement mill and didn't want to get his car all messed up with the cement dust. Now that he retired he doesn't need the truck anymore so we figured take the body from the newer one and put it on the frame with the stronger drivetrain. I have pretty much beat the crap out of the other truck with taking it mudding and it just won't break. Picked up the 57 for a mere $200 with pretty much all of the parts to reassemble. Will need some tlc but should be a nice ride when its done.
