I've been sitting on a little nugget of information for a couple of weeks until there was something tangible to share with everyone:
I was recently selected as one of the new bloggers for the
Calm, Cool, & Connected blog. It was originally referred to as the "Mom Blog" because all of the bloggers were mothers that also worked for AT&T. As of last week,
CCC added
4 new bloggers, two of which are dads, and one of which is me. I was asked to provide my point of view as an expectant and soon to be first-time father, covering numerous topics, but especially how our family is impacted by the prevelance of technology.
As of today, the first of the new bloggers' musings was posted (
To Game, Or Not To Game?), and it just so happens to be one of mine. Please, take a look and be sure to visit the site as often as possible when you have a chance. Post comments, participate, and help us build the community. It will come as no shock to many of you that the first post has a little to do with gaming, but I promise to vary my subjects greatly. They'll be posting an introductory video blog I submitted soon - keep in mind the camera adds (at least) 15 pounds - and much more to come.
Occasionally, the site offers some sweet prizes. A
month ago a Nokia E71 was
given away.
Also, while you're at it and if you're interested, please take a look at the
website and
blog that I've put together for Amy and I as a way for us to keep everyone in the loop as to how things are going, and also to use as a keepsake for our family. Please feel free to comment on the blogs and provide any feedback you want to/can, and don't hesitate to share with anyone you think would be interested. We both appreciate it, and I especially appreciate constructive criticism.
Just Write is our site, and here's the
blog direct link.
Outside of working ridiculous hours on not-so-much-fun work projects, this is the other reason I've been quiet the past 2 weeks. I think Peench said it best in that this is the kind of extra work I love doing.
