I was able to give my daughter her first car for her upcoming birthday. It was funny timing it between when she finished volleyball practice and then left for work.
She was surprised.

Of course, you could have actually saved some money and bought a used car for her. For some reason, I don't think she would have mind getting a used one. But I digress on the new car vs. high prices argument.

actually, your post said between practice and work. It didn't specifically say she just got home from practice or just leaving for work. So, I just presumed she was leaving for work. I figured it would be easier to surprise her when she was getting ready for work, rather than try to surprise when she got home from practice.

I really like the Cobalts. That color looks good and is easily spotted, which hopefully makes it a little bit safer.

Maybe for a different thread, but were you able to talk the dealer down at all? I hear they're hard up for customers.
