I just wanted to start a thread about being positive,ya I know how lame that sounds so shut your fricken mouth
I know theres a lot of people dealing with a bunch of shit like the job market,cost of living,gas prices and a bunch of other random bullshit that can bring you down.
So do something nice...I know when I'm down or bummed out I like to make other people laugh or smile cuz it make me laugh and smile

So what have you done to be nice?
And don't say I read this thread

What I did today...I just gave away a glass whale to a little girl that came in my shop.Her mom and dad were tripping cuz they could not believe that it was free.So I made them happy which made me happy

Its my Parents' 29th anniversary, I told my pops ill take care of the office and they can do whatever they want. Plus im gonna try to get this guy down the hall a better insurance rate (with great coverage) for his vehicle. Im not done for today either, I got to go beat up this guy whose been talking trash.

A buddy of mine's father just passed away, I've been taking care of his business down here while he's in mourning up in PA. I'm getting his mail, keeping check on his house, and dog-sitting for him. It's nothing major, but I'm glad to take some stuff off of his mind while he deals with his grief.

I'm with Epyon, I try to do the little things.

There is one thing... My dad built a really nice telescope several years ago with a disabled astronomer who passed away several years back (when I was a little kid). Recently, he told me he was gonna get rid of it because he didn't have any room for it anymore, and it wasn't being used. I'm no astronomer, but I couldn't let something like that go, so I picked it up yesterday and I've made room at my house to store it for him.

Who knows, I've been thinking about taking up astronomy again so I can make some use out of it and have something to do with my dad in his spare time.

I just made life better for all of us by telling some little kid in my office that when he plays on Xbox live not to shout or curse or he will never have any friends. I also told him that if he keeps talking (he is a talker and a half) that i would introduce him to this lady Gossiper that will annoy the hell out of him.

Im too nice, i even let the Bank Reps/underwriters put me on hold...im getting pissed.

Oh, this is kinda big, but it's kinda easy: I give blood every time I'm able. My grandfather did this his whole life and it's something I want to do.

The last good deed I did also had a bad deed attached to it along with a somewhat good deed for myself so I wont post it, but mostly for me I just try to do the little things like some other people said. I also try to just treat others the way I want to be treated and try not to judge people before I know them.
