| Well Nintendo launched in Europe and sold 80,000 right off the bat so I edited the original post to reflect that until more solid numbers pour in.
As of right now the launch allocations each company had are as follows... Xbox 360 launch:
U.S. = 360,000 (Sold Out)
Europe = 350,000 (Sold Out)
Japan = 120,000 (62,000 Sold) Total Shipped: 830,000 Sony PS3 launch:
U.S. = 172,000 (Sold Out)
Europe = Zero (launching in 4 to 5 months)
Japan = 88,000 Total Shipped: 260,000 Nintendo Wii:
U.S. = 700,000 (Sold Out)
Europe = atleast 80,000 (Sold Out)
Japan = 372,000 (Sold Out) Total Shipped: 1,150,000
Nintendo has raised the bar by having so many systems ready for launch. |
