| Xbox Live Diamond Cards?
I was going through my wallet this afternoon, getting rid of old business cads and such, and I noticed my wonderfully useful *groan* Diamond Card had expired. Just for shits-n-giggles I decided to go and order a new one, but something has changed. These things are $7 bucks now! Did I miss something? I remember getting this thing for free and still thinking I was paying too much, why are they $7 now?
The deals you get seem not quite as horrible($10 off of a $75 purchase at Gamestop.com isn't bad) as they used to be. But 7 bucks? Really? Has anyone renewed or have plans to renew? $7 is a little steep for me. | |

| hell no I didn't renew. It was a perk for being a gold member or staying with XBL for a year. Most of the deals weren't that great; forgettable is the term I would use. | |

| I never used mine, ever. Lame program. Instead they should have allowed you to earn points when you spent money on Live allowing us to get some love for all the damn map packs we bought.
At least I have something that resembles a credit card with crankbait66 on it. | |

I did get another one issued to me since my last one expired. I'm still in the dark on what to do with the damn thing. I'm with Crank they should have let us earn MS points with it. That would have been cool. | |

| It's like almost every other discount card. You figured they would have worked out better deals on electronics, but they didn't. Most the programs didn't even qualify if you only bought one game. It's one thing to get $5 off, but then you still had to pay for shipping, which usually was that $5. So, why pay the same amount to wait, when you can just go to the store and get it now. | |
