And then you had the womnas liberation movement. I can't count the nuumber of times in the 1970's that I would try to hold a door for a woman and they would give me a dirty look and grab the door because they wanted to do it themselves. To this day I rarely hold the door open for anyone. I just hold it until they grab the door then I'm on my way.
