WTH is it? features
It doesn't matter what type of game it is, there are always things that make me wonder why the hell they aren't in there - things that should be there but for some god-only-knows reason isn't: a pregame lobby, aim down the sights, driver's seat view, and lean function are just a few that are mine.
What's your "where the hell is it" feature?

The pregame lobby is the biggest thing for me.

Co-op for sure, quick saves at anytime, and having the game pause when you bring up the guide blade. Way too many games let the game roll when you want to check friends/messages, and it can be annoying.

Yeah, Litch, I hear ya on that game pause thing. I can't tell ya how many times I've been killed during some fine MP matches on CoD4 because of me trying to send a message to someone. I wish they'd have included that one, too.

Pregamelobby.
A reliable party and matchmaking system.
Really all of the above mentioned should be standard. One more thing I'd like to see in games (this is just one they haven't been able to do yet)...
realistic white-guy hair.

I'm going to reach and say that was sarcasm, good job. What I'm talking about is in games like Madden, GTAIV, and GRAW2(?) when you are playing by yourself and you go to check a message the game still rolls on, even though most games stop when the guide is up.

I didn't take it that way, I thought the same thing. I hate being killed mid-battle because I shifted over to collect a msg from someone... I can't remember specifically which games it happens in, but it's out there and it sucks for sure.

I thought it was sarcasm because there is no pausing in multiplayer. I was referring to Madden when I stop to check a message and I get a delay of game penalty.
I love you Eric.

:HAHA: Thanks for playing along, fellas. Yes, I was trying to make a funny. Your pausing comment just led me into mine. Actually, I have wished there was a feature that made you disappear from gameplay, if you had to pause it. I know it's not realistic, but just a "nice to have" thing.

Theres been enough games With out this feature that it should be #1 on everybodies list. IN GAME MUTES FROM A PAUSE SCREEN OR BY THE PLAYERS LIST. Without having to view someones gamer card, we should be able to mute people...WTF is with that!

Halo3 has a pretty good means of muting players. I'm pretty sure it's done "in-game" without having to access their gamercard.

Yes, I knew someone was gonna point that out, but thats the only game i know of so far that allows this. It needs to be mandatory and a player list that tells your WHO is talking unlike in GTA where its only during the pregamelobby, or if you actually see the players icon during the ingame above their heads.
