Hava... record game video
I was surfing and ran across this. Looks pretty cool... similar to Slingbox but a little friendlier it appears:
The HAVA video system used to record Xbox 360 games.
Obviously it has other uses as well. The thing I like about it is you can evidently continue to play in HD while recording video on your PC.

Well unless I'm reading the how to wrong. It sounds like you are streaming video back through your router to your computer. I wonder what kind of bandwidth this is taking up and if this would have an effect on xbox live lag.

I'm no guru, but I think the bandwidth on a router these days is more than sufficient to handle both. Some of these more savvy peeps can comment... the real bottleneck will almost certainly still be the net though.

I just ordered one of these puppies. I'll let you know how it works. Total impulse purchase... I haven't done that in a long time, I guess I was overdue.

Here's the first HAVA sample:
The quality is much better than this initially. Veoh pretty much stinks on the quality side.
Twango does much better quality-wise, I'm sure, but they appear to be in the process of upgrading and streaming play isn't currently available.
Here's a link to the original file that should be clearer. (At least it looks better on my machine)
