Yankee Stadium - only one yr. left.

Well, there is only one more season left to be played in the greatest baseball stadium EVAR until the new Yankee Stadium is open for 26 more World Series in '09. The new stadium is basically across the street. Behind left field, I think. Hard to believe the city shoe horns shit like this in. Yankee fan or not, you OWE it to yourself as a baseball fan to see a game in Yankee Stadium. Hell, I went to a Red Sox game just to be in Fenway. (I wore my NY hat too. That was fun.) I plan to hit some games this yr with my kids. There is NO way my kids are missing out on that stadium. Even though they won't remember a damn thing. But, I'll have pics.

Wonder, or any fellow PGLers, are you for some games this yr? Bitch.

I can't believe they build stuff in the snow.

Fenway is an awesome stadium. We missed out on a game last time I was there tho which sucked. I'd love to get out to NY to see a game at Yankee stadium. Unfortunately it won't be this year.

I still can't believe they are tearing it down.

I'm the farthest thing from a Yankee fan. In fact, I'd probably be classified as a Yankee hater. But, my wife is from there, and I finally got to go to the stadium a couple of summers ago. Being a baseball fan all my life, I just thought it was so cool to sit there and think about all of the greats who have played there. It was really a great experience, except that I missed Monument Park by 15 freakin' minutes!

We're going to be back there near the end of April into early May. I haven't looked at the schedule yet, but we're hoping to catch one more game there before the new stadium opens.

I've never been to NYC, and can't make it out there. Otherwise, I would be more willing to go. No time or money, LOL.
