Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: O-TOWN FL Age: 23 | Gun collection Just wondering if anyone owns any guns. Ive started my own little gun collection lately. I have a Smith & Wesson sigma semi-automatic 40 cal sw40ve. I recently added a laser to the front of the gun to see clearer at night. I also have a cheap walmart special charles daily 12 guage. My newest gun is the Romanian AK-47 I got it a few days ago. For you COD4 freaks it has the dragunov sniper rifle stock (the shoulder rest). Gonna shoot it probably tommorow at the range.
So thats what I got what do you have?

| I have a PT92, it's a Beretta 92FS clone, but you wouldn't know the difference if you didn't see the body. | |

Thats it for us. I am thinkin of picking up a shotgun, but I don't hunt and rarely go shooting so it might be a waste.

Before long I want to get something like that, or maybe a Glock.

The folks are real asses about weapons, despite the fact my old man has 4 or 5 guns. I got swords though!

I think having a shotgun to put over the door would be cool, maybe like a Remmy 870, but crime isn't bad enough to warrant one. That, and I'd probably get myself in trouble by firing it in the air or something.

The only reason why I have my guns is to hunt, and the .357 isn't technically mine but Its at my house and I take care of it so I really don't think my dad wants it anymore. I just keep it as more of a home security type gun in the closet where my gun case is.
I want to get a Glock when I get my concealed carry permit.

Milkman, if you are gonna get a Glock for carrying, do yourself a favor and go with a subcompact. I love Glock, but the full frames are very bulky and almost impossible to conceal in summer clothes. Even with a coat on, a trained eye can spot the bulge. Thats half the reason i never carry mine.

I have the ones I collected over the years, plus some that I inherited from my Grandfather when he passed away. 8 handguns, several shotguns, a few plinkers (a .17 HMR and a few 22's), several high-powered rifles (30-06, 300 Weatherby, 270, 243, 7mm Mag, 308, etc), a couple muzzleloaders (in line and flint), one assault rifle (223 Bushmaster) etc, etc, etc.

No need for anything else right now, although I've been considering getting my concealed/carry weapon permit, since I go into some questionable areas with my real estate career. Wife is actually supportive of that one, too, which is surprising.

I personally don't intend on getting a concealed license because of that. Otherwise, I probably would.
That, by the way, is just another awesome reason to live in Texas.
I do have a Mossberg 12 gauge that I've taken Dove hunting and keep for home defense, and a 9mil for home defense. The 9mil is really small though, so it fits my wifes hands and not mine at all. I'll get another one someday for me, but Lord knows when. They're quite an investment!

| If it snowed there I would definitely move there. Nothing like the right to protect your homestead. | | |
