My cousen ride 4 wheeler at a place called Royal Blue and they say you can ride from daylight till dark and never hit the same trail. Not sure if its 4 wheelers only or not. Its actually a state park which makes it wierd that they allow 4 wheelers on it. You could google royal blue TN and probably get info. Cool pics.

I got the opportunity to go with a friend to a place in Nocona, Tx once. There was a huge group of people out there and they were doing some crazy climbs on four wheelers. I was able to ride in on a lot of them, and I can say first hand that it was a blast.
I would never be able to get into it with my own four wheeler, though. I would take WAY too much pride in my four wheeler and would never be able to do anything fun for fear of rolling or scratching it.

Just posing. I have a sweet picture of a dude in a Toyota Tacoma in an tough position... if I find it, I'll post it.

Join Date: Sep 2006 Location: Sacramento, CA Age: 37 | When I was a teen, I had this shitty Datsun (By Nissan) 2x4 pickup. It was a beater of a truck my grandpa gave me for graduating high school. Except it didnt have an engine! Cheap bastard! After saving for like six month, I had an engnie put into the truck, along with some big 30" tires. I think the backs were 32" It had air shocks, which I inflated to the max and maxed out the torsion bars for more lift. I then added a bunch of steal bumpers and roll bars so make it look even "cooler".
My buddy had a 1970 CJ-5, a kick ass Corvette yellow one. It was really nice. Anyway, we would go four wheeling all the time, me of course in my 2x4 mini-truck. He would creep over rocks and boulders, I would charge into them as fast as I could go and just bounce, smash, and thud over most stuff. Sometime it would take a few tries to go up bigger slippery hills, but I almost always made it!
A few times I got stuck in sand and mud. But the back of the truck weighed so little, that three guys could lift the entire back end straight up and set it down a bit over from the giant holes I would dig trying to free myself. Sometimes we would just drag it out with the jeep asa well.
This little truck was one tough hombre. So many parts fell off and it just kept going. The engine section even caught fire three times! Towards the end, I had bolts in the fuse box instead of the old glass fuses! SO much stuff was burned out and busted that I hard wired manual switches for almost every part of the car. Plus I usualll made these repairs at night, and thus they were not good from minute one.
One time I was broke down or something, working on my car in a parking lot. A cop came over to see what I was doing. I told him I was just finishing up a repair, and would be gone soon. He looked at my truck somemore and said there was no way he was going to let me drive that thing home in the dark! He gave me and my girl a ride home!
I ended up selling this thing not because it died, but there was no way it was going to pass smog, since most of that stuff had already burned up or fell off! I found a guy that wanted a truck for his farm property only. I explained to him about how franken-truck worked, since just turning the key would not start the car, without first turning on manually the igntion and charging switches, plus the lights since it was dark.
Anyway, my point is off roading is REALLY fun. Even if you dont have an awesome truck like Justin try and find some easier trails and enjoy the day.

Some of the boulders they were able to climb over while going up a steep hill was amazing. They seemed to defy the laws of physics at times. Their vehicles were strictly for four wheeling though. Most of the good ones wouldn't even drive their trucks/jeeps out there. They carried them out on flatbed trailers.
