| Anyone got os OS disc of win95 or win3.1???? I'm trying to install win98 in an old machine, and didn't realize I had only win98 upgrade. I threw away my win95 and win3.1 floppys about three months ago. I forgot my win98 was the upgrade version.
Needless to say, I'm stuck in the installation process. Arggg!!!!

If you want to do something in the meantime (or even try something different and much, much more secure than Win 98), why don't you dload and install Ubuntu Linux on your old computer. Here's the URL: http://www.ubuntu.com/

| thanks CamDawg. One of my friends had it and was able to get it to me last night. Actually, I would do something like that, but I'm just preping the computers to give anyway to some people who don't have a computer.
These computers are really old. I think they're both 233mhz. I know they'll run win98 and that'll give the people enough software options to do basic stuff such as wordprocessing and internet surfing. I just needed to get rid of the machines.
Heck, one of the monitor's picture tubes went out on me yesterday, LOL. Does the term, "niiice" mean anything, LOL.

| If you have an old copy of like MS office for win95 or win98, I could use that. I can't find my copies. I think I threw them out too. | |

| Thanks anyway. No problem. Luckily, I know a few frugal people who may be able to help me out. | |
