I got an iMAC not to long ago. I've always used windows, and was wondering if there were any good guides/books to help transition over. I know there are alot out there but for the sake of saving money/time/stress....any recommendations?

My parents switched not too long ago, and I got them a pretty basic book FULL of pictures. They loved it. I'm pretty sure it was this: Master Visually Mac OSX
But, personally, I'd go with a website that has screencasts. They are much more robust and best of all, free. This site has a screencast a day on how to do certain things in OSX. You can search too, the only thing is they haven't been doing it very long so there isn't a lot to search for, but what they have is pretty informative.
Good luck! | |

| Yeah, I echo what Breath said. When in doubt, drag and drop!!! As for resizing pictures, I wasn't ever sure how to do that. I ended up just using photo shop.
There's also a widget that works very well. I think it's called Image Shackle that resizes the image to a specified size!

| I thought we answered your question, Mad... If we didn't quite answer it, it definitely wasn't intentional! | |

| That's odd... maybe the OS X 10.5 (Leopard) version will knock your socks off!

| Yeah, I just barely got into Photoshop and CS2 and now they're coming out with CS3... haha I guess it wouldn't be a bad time to make the jump since I hardly know what I am doing anyway!! | |
