In honor of the new Gears of War map pack being released on May 3, 2007, PreGameLobby felt the time was ripe to give away a copy of Gears of War for the Xbox 360. This contest will be a bit different than others we have run here at PGL. Hopefully it will be fun for everyone participating and will also generate some new members.
Linked in this thread below are five different flyers that can be downloaded and printed out and copied. Once printed out, the flyers should be posted anywhere around the world (so long as you are not breaking any laws). Once posted, take a picture of the flyer showing where you posted it. Then upload your photo and post a copy of it here. You can write your Gamertag or other identifying mark on the flyer if you'd like, but you are not obligated to do so. For each photo you take you get one entry into the drawing. So the more flyers you post and the more photos you take, the more chances you have of winning! A drawing will be performed at the end of the contest period from all of the submitted entries.
We have set up a couple of simple options to make it easier for you to submit photos and post them here.
Flickr
If you have a Flickr account you can upload the photos you take to your Flickr account and then post them to the
PreGameLobby Photo Group. Then post a copy of the photo here in this thread.
Twango
You can upload your photos to Twango in a few different manners. None of these steps requires you to be a member of Twango.
1. You can email your photos to:
Peench.GOWGiveaway.PGL@twango.com
2. You can upload your photos to
the GOW Giveaway Channel by using the password "PGL"
Once uploaded, post a copy of the photo in this thread.
The Flyers
Click on the flyer you want to download a PDF copy.
To recap the steps you need to take to do well in this contest:
1. Download the flyers
2. Print out the flyers (you can use different color paper to stand out more)
3. Make a bazillion copies of the flyers
4. Tape them up in whatever crazy public places you can dream up
5. Take a photo of the flyer after you've taped it up
6. Submit the photo and post it here
7. Repeat
Do not break any laws in posting these flyers out and about in the world.
The more flyers you post and the more photos you take of the postings, the better your chances of winning a brand, spanking new copy of Gears of War for the Xbox 360. With release of the new Map Pack, this copy is all you will need for a good time with other PGL members!
