Hey guys

When I play gears of war people can hear me tallk but I cannot hear them. This makes it very difficult to get sorted into teams and occaisionally get boooted. Please help

Sounds like your headset may be on its way out. Or your NAT setting may be strict or moderate etc.. giving you the issues.

First thing I would blame is the headset. If it's a wired headset, those wires are so tiny that I think they get pulled on one-too-many times and it starts losing it's connectivity. If it is the wireless, not sure what to tell ya!

If it is only in Gears, then it is probably not the headset. Try a voice chat with somebody and check your NAT. Sometimes routers/NAT ruin the voice fun.

It is a wireless so I dont think it is the cords.

Wireless is even more of a pain in the butt but. How do you know they can hear you if you can't hear them telling you they can hear you?

I played with my friend that I go to school with and he said he could her me, I just couldnt her him or anyone else talking.

That certainly is very weird. And it is just for Gears of War?? Or was it for every game.

i played it last night. my friend can hear me and so can other people but I cant hear them.
