Gears Achievement Changes?

I would love to see that happen. New maps, content, I wouldn't mind (preferably free).

As for the achievement rumor, I can see your point about people who got Seriously the hard way, but I wouldn't mind since I only play Player Matches.

im with you no more ranked achivments. just public so you can play with mates for achivments

After the update the achievements have gone weird, I started on Act 4 and finished chapter one on it and some how got " Act 4 complete" achievement (insane) !!! i was shell shocked! still played the quality game tho lol .. so i went back to all the act's and done the first chapters and got all Insane achievements! weird lol

btw ive been mentioning this change for donkeys now when I was in my xbox playing phase I was allways saying this might/will happen it was mentioned ages ago on the offical xbox forums, and I passed it on, But cus its from a company its believeable? pretty funny ^^ ah well I might actually play my bro's xbox if this comes out, chill with college friends on it few times a week be fun, When things are ranked you tend to find, well i do playing with friends on player games is "waste of time" because youve nothing to show for it.

Did this change really happen?

If it did I would be willing to pick it up again just because of the fact that like many of you I hate ranked matches when you can't play with your friends. First of all because you have people who act like morons and scream and not act as a team or any other of the infinite reasons, and second of all just because it isnt fun if you don't know anyone you are playing with.

I haven't heard about this either but I'm skeptical. There were rumors of this happening a few times earlier this year and it never came true. I think that it's funny also that Epic put all this effort into making boosting for achievements harder and harder.

If this IS true, I will be pissed for all the work and long hours I put up with l337 speak geeks and little kids screaming obscenities at anyone who picked up the longshot or boomshot when they "called it".

Oh well, even though this makes me even more anti-Epic, I'll probably still buy Gears 2.
