| Help with RAAM, looking for co-op partner Hi.
I'm new to this forum; I believe this is my third post. Anyway....
I was wondering if someone would be willing to play RAAM with me so I can finish the Insane level. I know it's kind of lame since I did everything else on Insane, but I'm just not getting done. I've been a few trying, but I'm getting sick of playing him.
I've done the host a co-op game, but most people quit after the first death; I think they were hoping to tag along to get a free achievement. One person in the span of one minute, the amount of time I managed to survived, needed healing three times.
Thanks in advance. Rich

| Nevermind fellas, I just beat it on Insane.
I ended up looking on YouTube because of the thread "chainsaw yourself" and found some video footage on how to beat on insane. I ended up doing the hide behind the front right small block and using frag granades, torc bow, and lancer.
What a relief. he was getting so irrating. Now on to completing the Dom missions, LOL. Just need to find some noob wanting to do casual, LOL.

If you want to do dom I would be glad to go through it again with you. I'm still missing a couple of the cog tags. Just send me a FR

| RAAM is a pushover once you get a strategy down. For co-op, you and you partner both need full(ammo) torque bows, and then just continue hitting RAAM with active reload shots from afar. 15 active reload shots take him down.
Or, if you are by your lonesome. Hit him with all 12 Torque Bow shots and then throw grenades to knock the Kryll off of him and snipe him in the face. It'll take all 12 torque rounds and 8 sniper headshots(6 if active reloads).

| the first time I played RAAM was co-op in casual. It took my buddy and I like two hours to do it. I used the trioka gun, which apparently may not have been the best strategy. I found one need take out the Reaver, since the Kryll didn't really go after me. The bad part is the trioka gun isn't very accurate.
I didn't have a lot torc bow shots, 6 actually, because I wasn't willing to give up my shotgun for the exploding kryll. And then I would go back and finish chapters I didn't do on Insane; I switched in the middle of Act 2 to insane from hardcore.
Yea, I'm down for co-op with Dom. I was thinking of doing it on casual for more of light gaming, per se. I do have all the cog tags. I will admit I did look up where four of them were.

Everytime I've beaten the game on insane(19 times) I use sniper and Torque to kill RAAM. The shotgun is dog doo in that battle.

| hahahaha nice. Adopt a freeway...
I'd much rather it be "Help widen our freeways!!!"
And after they contribute millions then it would change to "Wider Freeways brought to you by Britney Spears!"
What does adopting a freeway do anyway?

| Dlitch is the man when it comes to GOW help. He should be your first choice when looking for a partner. I believe we killed RAAM in about 30 seconds or so, We both filled up with Bows and took turns nailing him. I was waiting for RAAM to jump up and attack again, til Dlitch said we were done. I need a coop partner for insane if anyone is interested. I have all the Dom achievements so I dont mind being the other character. | |

| I'd be more than happy to go through the game on Insane with you Cujo. I just need the last Dom achievement and I'm good. I'll put myself on the trading block for Gears help, if anyone needs some let me know.
PS~Thanks for the kind words Cujo, you made me feel all fuzzy inside.

| I'm aware of the reappearing ammo box in the train car, but I only saw one torc bow in the car, and never reappeared. The game gave me the torc bow with 3 or 6 shots, and the one pic up, so I think I did get 12 (my mistake earlier).
I wasn't using the shotgun versus RAAM. I would ditch it for it, it was too him I wasn't willing to give it up. There is a torc bow by the ladder before you fight the reavers, so you could end up with 18 shots, but there are kryll after that spot and found the shot gun was useful to shoot those little SOBs. I'm just not skilled to melee attach w/ the torc bow, pistol or grenade and get away and live.
