Apparently, in addition to the maps and introductory video by Cliffy B, there is also a theme up as well. Get the maps tonight and lets get some 4 on 4 going on.

I don't know what the hell was up with my connection last night, but I couldn't get into a friendly Gears match worth my life, although Ranked games were fine for me.

How did that guy get the collecters theme? I bought the CE of GOW, did this theme come on the extra disc? Was that theme ever made available in the marketplace? Anyone know?

Wonder, we were thinking your dropping out was somehow related to Pickle getting dropped when his power would flicker or whatever it was doing. Everytime his power would go out, he would get dropped, and you would follow. It was very odd.

Can anyone watch more than half that video? Mine stopped playing right about the half-way mark (even tho it showed the whole thing had loaded). I tried it from the main youtube page too and the same thing happened.

I downloaded everything this morning although... the new theme isn't all that great... It's got an ad blatantly on the bottom of it and it's really not somethin' I want to look at every time I am in the dashboard. The pictures themselves are kinda cool but, the underlying factor it has an ad and also right next to it is Future Weapon or something of the sort, deter me from wanting to use it permanently.

Regardless, Kudos to them for making all this stuff FREE!!!!!!!!

I played them and honestly, I don't like the Raven Down one too much. It's a friggin' small map. When I say friggin' small map, I mean, within about 5 seconds of the round starting you could possibly run into an opponent. Not to mention, the only available weapon to pick up (from what I've seen) is grenades. Another problem I see with it is, since it is so small, the rounds turn into shotgun matches and I know how much that pisses people off. The level design is pretty cool with a good amount of cover but, it's almost a moot point if you can almost automatically see where people come from right from the get-go.

Bones or whatever is a lot better. A lot more variety and a lot more breathing room. The weapon selection is, Grenades, Boomshoot, and Sniper Rifle. Pretty nice map layout along with design.

But, with my gripes about Raven Down, I still am VERY VERY appreciative they are free maps. to Epic!

I got to play them about 10 minutes ago. Old Bones is awesome, Raven Down is ight. I loved the layout of Old Bones and I will probably play there as much as I play on Gridlock and Canals. I'm still not sold on Raven Down.

Props to Epic either way.

Raven Down reminds me of Gridlock in that you basically run into a middle location where everyone just shoots the hell outta each other. The only difference is that on Gridlock you have a sniper and boom shot to contend with.

I like both new maps because each will have a different game play and ultimately thats what keeps it interesting. Some times its fun to just run out and try to take each other out with shotties and other times its fun to try to use power weapons.

Man... the game feels a bit different to me now. It seems like you can't take as much punishment anymore. Also, the shotties feel different too... seem much more powerful. Then again, it could have just been because I've never seen it used much. Now it's the default weapon it seems.
