| Serren, I believe you can set the time duration before the person gets up. This might solve the issue you are talking about.
I love the multiplayer aspect.

I am normally not very good at the more open fighting games, as I hate using my head as a target for the snipers. But in Gears, there is lots of cover, and even when you get sniped, unless it is a head shot, you survive. The fighting is much more close and and in your face then the rest of the game crop. I also like it as it's third person.
I think some people who may not like it are the snipers. The game is more balanced in this regard then any other game I can think of, which must annoy the snipers among us.
Rent it and enjoy! | |

As far as Gametypes go in GoW, Execution and Warzone are played very differently. The Lancer is an annoyance in Execution, but that's the point. Execution forces you to leave cover and confront people face to face, while Warzone lets you take cover and shoot from a distance. Althoug
If you read the Gears forums on Epic's site, you will see that they are still working on balancing the weapons. Cliffy B even thinks they have some balance issues, so it's anyone's guess what they are toying with right now. I bet the grenade tagging distance was the easiest to fix because it's not so much weapon balance as it is proximity balance.
Mark Rein said in his post that this was the "first" of future patches so... we'll wait and see.

I wonder if the chain gun on the King Raven map (and helicopter) is going to be accessible? That would be pretty sweet.

| Imagine hiding inside the chopper then taking someone out who walked by! That would be freaking cool! | |

Really this sounds great. I've been so into Oblivion for the past two weeks that I haven't touched Gears. This might bring me back...

| My Thoughts
First, Even thought Im great at Sneaking up on people and grenade tagging, Im happy to hear that they are reducing the proximity of Grenade tagging, But I also have a problem with the Length of that Damn Chainsaw and its SUCTION power. I mean i run past the guy and a second later I get pulled back and im chainsawed. I think there are some minor Glitch problems with that chainsaw. At least Most of my chainsaw kills were earned, I hunted Them down and used 3rd person to sneak around my FOE's.(Like the Knife from behind in counter-strike).
Second, Taking the host name away, its Iffy to me, Since I dont play with the killer team i used to when this game first came out I have been getting placed with really horrible teammates. No mics, No Backup, No Revives, No Fun....Not Glitchs but Big Bitchs in my opinion.
2 Free Maps......... What more to say
Future Weapons Show..... that would of went better with PS3's Resistence Fall of Man
Third, That Shotgun situation.... I LOVE taking that route. I've been working on my this tactic where I see an unsuspecting FOE and i start to roadie run and while running I hold down the fire button(With my shotty out) and I usually keep my guy's vision facing upwards (towards uper body and head) then I let go of Roadie Run as soon as Im Right next to the guy and the gun automatcially shoots while im still holding the fire button. BOOM guts all over the ROOM. Can't agree on taking that tactic out, cause yes its devastating but not from far. You have to be almost point blank, The Sniper with one well placed shot with active reload is a down, close or far. While a buck from far will barely hurt, buck from close should Rip you.
Also I wish you could pick to play with High Rankers, I just want to see how REALLY good they are cause most of them play with a good team and catch unsuspecting players in a game that has 10 rounds and such.
My 2 cents | | |

My 2 cents | Excellent use of picklish!
Since the patch is now out I'd like to test it out tonight and see how well it works out.
