Here's a thought. Epic has repeatedly stated that w/ Gears 2, the wpn achievements will only count one per match. So if you get like 12 sniper rifle kills, only one of those count, and the same for each pwr wpn. And yet, there are no wpn specific achievements to earn. Could Epic have made it so you only get one kill per match w/ the wpns and getting a 100 or 500 kills w/ each wpn doesn't give you an achievement, but instead gives you the golden wpn. Pure speculation on my part that I had today. And I must mention it's amazing the things one will think of w/ only 4 hrs of sleep and driving in a car for 3 hrs trying to stay awake.

no, it's if you buy GOW2 new. Any edition. They are trying to prevent ppl from just buying it used, so anyone who buys any edition, new, gets the codes to download the classic map pack of subway, canals, tyro station, gridlock, and raven down.

I heard it's these: Canals, Gridlock, Mansion, Subway, and Tyro. I'd be surprised if Raven Down was included.

I thought Gridlock and Subway came bundled with the disk, and the other 3 were DLC.

They should have had War Machine on there, best map IMO.

yeah, Mansion. Thanks Wiltron. I like all the maps after playing them so many times, but I'm confused on Tyro Station. Lot of ppl don't like it and I would have rathered Fuel Depot, Escalation, or Clocktower, personally. Not crazy about canals either, but I know tons of ppl that love it.

Sure,give us cheap bastards the frickin hammer burst. I hate Tyro Station the map is so loud it shakes my walls,thats why I took it out of my rotation.I agree with you Aftrthought I would much rather see clock tower or Fuel Depot and I'm not big on canals either.Thanks for all the info guys
