I think the game should of been twice as long. 8 hours is way too short.
Dom has a big knife on his chest. It would of been cool to be able to use that as a melee option. Because when you sneak up behind an enemy and use your chainsaw, they turn around and its the same animation. And if you don't have a knife maybe you could snap there neck or something. With a different animation for different enemy types!
I'm taking a page out of R6V's book here, but I would like to see Customizable weapons. Special forces should be able to pick and choose there own specific weapon set. Maybe you could start off with a stock machine gun, and you get to pick what attachment you add to it! i.e
Chainsaw, (instant classic and awesome!)
Scope, (kinda obvious)
Torch, (for a crap your pants night level)
Bayonet, (slice n dice melee, with no animation)
Flame thrower, (barbecued Wretches anybody?)
Grenade launcher, (bring it on boomers)
Four player co-op is a given, The game is much better playing it through with mates!
What are your ideas?

It's a nice list, I'm assuming they tossed around the idea for 4 player coop before but, it probably wouldn't have been feasible to do for one reason or another.

Well at least r6v has 4 way co-op, that is one of my fave features online!

Great list Sonny!! Those would make for some serious fun. They could have done the torch in the underground levels. That woulda been freaky -especially with those exploding guys!
I still haven't made it all the way thru the SP. Just about every time I jump online I get an invite to play some Multiplayer. I can't resist!! haha!
I do agree that co-op rules. It is so much fun to play thru with someone else. Definitely makes it different than playing through on your own.
While I love the multiplayer portion others have indicated a desire for different game play modes. For their benefit I hope they throw in some new game modes for multiplayer.

Nice list in the op. I would like a weather generator for MP maps. Escalation looks better during an autumn day than a rainy night.

I would do the following:
- Bigger Multi-player maps
- Some kind of energy grenade (like plasma in halo) that is a light bomb to scare away & protect you from Kryll (also the flashlight on a rifle might work)
- Stronger sniper rifle w/really challenging reload mechanism (like in PDZ / can shoot through rock, uses x-ray, etc.)
- Better vehicles to pilot
- Allow you to ride the Locust dinosaur vehicle thingys
- GET RID OF THE STUPID LEFT BUMPER/TEAM COMMAND FUNCTION!!!! That thing was about as useful as AI controlled Dom in a firefight.

Good ideas Frag, I like the weapon customization idea, and maps.
I would like:
An MP varient, Plant and arm the resonator in the locust hole! It would be tough without re-spawns, but Cliffy is a smart guy, he can make it happen.
oh, and scented game cases, maybe spiced pumpkin or lavender

I like the idea of the regular mode being a little longer. Plus the four player co-op would be awesome. The best idea yet is the scented cases. How about dried blood scent?

I like the way you think. Another one that would be great would be a zone-protect MP mode where one team (COG) protects a central zone while the Locusts emerge from different holes that can be closed just like in SP mode. The courtyard where that kind of action takes place in the co-op play is great. I think it would be a great MP game as well.
Also I'd like them to: - tone down the friggin grenade stick. 20 yards is a bit excessive for that. Or heck make the sticky grenade a knock down, but not a kill.
- a party system ala Halo. We talked about that last night. It would be awesome. And up to 8v8 games.
- implement some kind of weapon swap where you can just drop a weapon and your teamate can pick it up.
- Get rid of special weapon re-spawns. Respawn the ammo for it only, and spawn it in random spots on the map rather than in the same place. Or at least respawn the weapon in a random spot.

What about a "hot potato" game mode?
One player out of the players online from both team randomlly spawns with a grenade (ala the bomb in counter strike). There is also a round clock, the idea is to nade tag somone with the grenade thus passing off the "hot potato".
Just a random thought....
but my biggies are 4 player co op, a party system (I don't play ranked beacause playing with other players that either don't communicate or berate you when you make a mistake isn't my idea of fun), and a mic fix (yes I do know that the mic glitch is on M$'s end, but Epic should be applying the thumbscrews a little harder).
