yeah Im not going to bother entering because with my luck I'll win and wont be able to attend. It runs from a friday night till a Sunday I believe. I cant request time off after just starting this job, and I need a month to request time off anyways, so there goes the chance of a lifetime

I read in the most recent Xbox mag the Emergence Day is the sunday nov 12th. It said that all the stores including stores like Wal-Mart , Best Buy, Circuit Cioty and so on will have it on the 12th. It also said that your gaming stores like EB games and Game stop should have it on Tuesday the 7th.
We'll see.

Yeah most stores will still receive it earlier that week. Some will wait for the 12th, others will not. I'll leave work at 6am, hit BK and get some croissanwichs and BK Joe, and wait a couple hours until EB opens. This will be the only time a Splinter Cell takes a back seat. Ive been watching the development of Gears for 3 years. I knew that the tech demo 3 years ago for unreal engine 3 was of some game, we just didnt know the name or story line.
