Then Wondermonkey dashed my dreams of becoming a video game pop author by telling me that Eric Nylund, author of the Halo books, is already working on it. In fact, he wrote the script for the game itself.
So here's where PGL comes in: submit your plot ideas, titles, scenarios etc. for a Gears of War fan fiction dream. Maybe we could even collaborate on turning our creativity into an actual book ...
Example: Wondermonky REALLY wants to see a book about Marcus Fenix and Dom's secret homo-erotic adventure in the mines ... I am personally more interested in Marcus' fall from grace, but that is just me ...
In any case, this is the forum for your ideas. Post outlines, out-takes, synopsis, whatever - HAVE FUN!

I have so many tough choices to make tonight: Gears co-op, Gears versus, CoD3 campaign, CoD3 versus, or R6:V MP demo.
Oh!! Why must I make such difficult decisions.

| They could write an entire book about the background of Fenix and the old battle he bailed on to try to save his dad, etc. That would be very interesting and might explain a few things - of course, maybe they are explained in the game and I haven't gotten to them yet! | |

I am only on ACT III myself, so once I finish this I will be in a better position to know more. For one thing - why do the Locusts look so much like the COGS? Is it just b/c big beefy bipeds make better character models? I think that we are going to see that the Locusts are the result of some underground government or private project that went horribly wrong. Probably some genetic alteration with some super-COG soldiers and a cloning program. That would explain why there are so many of them .... I don't know the stories are endless. Like what is Dom's connection to the dude who lent him the vehicle in ACT II? Whole bunch of stuff to explore.
