Yeah.....Its not really as awesome as I hoped. But cool nonetheless.

I love how in the video, Cliff is both whoring out his game and telling you things you already know. But he's a pretty cool guy, he's one of the few vigilantes of the video game world. I praise him.

I am really hoping for more maps. If this is their of idea of "Emergence Day" they need to fire their PR company.

So when is Epic suppose to be online playing the game? I thought that was today as well?

Thanks for the info... I hope they will add some MP maps also soon. I like the ones now, but I dont want to burn out on them already.

Easy way to solve the "burning out" problem....

Play the campaign in single or co-op This isnt a UT where there are 37 MP maps, its got only 8 for a reason. They spent 90% of the development time on its campaign, and it shows

Question to all members...

Did some of you buy this game only for its MP? I've been taking notice of the negative comments its getting around other boards, and those same people have their gamercard available to click on, and 99% of them havent tried the SP, only MP. They need to play the games Campaign, but hey, its their 60.00

Seemed for a moment there that the theme and gamerpic were removed from the marketplace but its sitting in the Themes and Gamer Pictures section of XLive.....

I agree with Spoon, the game is campaign oriented and anyone who bought the game expecting a UT is pretty pissed right about now. The MP is so much fun though, I would like to see more maps soon.

I'm just glad they focused on the campaign and didn't try to make a 3rd person UT with a cover system.

Well, I am not brushing off the SP aspect of it but I someone messages me an invite, I'll leave the SP world to the MP one. It's more dynamic regardless of how much logic you put into an AI.

I do plan on playing SP this week however.

Precisely why that when I sit down and play SP, I Appear Offline and disable all notifications

The SP is far 2 good 2 be distracted or taken away from it.

I don't know about ya'll but so far for me the "Emergence Day Content Downloads" have been pretty dissapointing. They marketed as "available only one day" so I was figuring i better make some time for this and stay home for a while on Sunday.

Truthfully, I was expecting more. I know the day is not over yet but from the looks of it, the theme and sole gamerpic may just be the only "free goodies" were getting.

I know the xbox.com website mentions only these items but I thought for a moment they may suprise us with something neat. We'll see.

I think the biggest draw of today is that they're giving away stuff every hour... including 1000 marketplace points, and even a guitar. So this is one day to ignore the SP and get on Live!
