I got booted from a game last night for some reason. I think it may have been my modem, though.

I don't know if this should really be described as an "issue", but - is there no way to join a Friend's game without getting an invite??

For example, you check your Friends List and someone is playing GRAW, there's the option to "Join Session In Progress" - or something like that.

Last night, I finally had a chance to play some GOW again, and while my list was FULL of folks playing - and it looked like most of them were playing MP matches - none of them had the "Join" option...

That kinda blows... I always like crashing a party!!

So, I guess instead, I have to send out a zillion msgs asking "got anymore room?? send an invite??" L A M E

Shibumi - it depends on whether the game is set up as a private lobby or an open lobby. If it is private then its invite only. If it is a public unranked game, then you will be able to join (if there are spaces available).

back to the topic of Problems and Known Fixs

1. The Problem with Picking up Weapons and then not being able to switch to any other of my guns is happening to me once every 3 days i play the damn game.

Known Fix - I just keep dropping and picking up weapons while i mash like a mad man on the control and watch the players on my Team get PWNED....(yes... PWNED)

2. Everyonce in a while (happened twice) my A button wont work, It wont let me slide into cover, Pop out, Roadie run, Its like the A Button doesn't exsist or it isn't configured. so i have to run slowly while the rest rush and i have to strafe in and out of Cover like im playing COD or CS. Without the A button your assed out in this game so that was a bummer.

Known fix - Like any clever fix that always works I MASHED ON THE CONTROLLER LIKE A MAD MAN WHILE MY TEAM WAS GETTING PWNED!

3. Glitch, Sometimes usually in Gridlock near boomshot those 2 cars....Man you slide into cover and sometimes you end up on top of the Damned Car. Crouching, It would have been better if i didn't press A, Its like Im Ghost riding the Car but im actually trying to take cover. I got killed once and it happened to me like 4-5 times. But I won't complain much cause I got 4 kills like that off other poor souls who don't recognize that happened and i had the LONGSHOT.

Known fix- Get out of cover then slide back in

4. Not a Glitch just a Bitch - While trying to roadie run away from a guy with a TAg Frag or chainsaw, and shotty, you bump into things and you auto slide into cover leaving you wide open to the guy your running away from. Sometimes you Cant get away. Especially when your trying to run forward and instead you keep Swat TURNING!!!!. and your team in the End Yells you NUB what were you doing just run away why were you Swat turning from side to side when the Enemy was behind you.

known fix - Kill the Guy from far away or have a teammate watch the FLANK

5. Not a Glitch just a Bitch 2 - YOUR TEAM not having mics and even when they do they don't work as a team, and even though you yell, Shout, scream, and say it...THEY Never Watch Flank, then you get Chainsawed, Shotguned, Or Tagged.

Known Fix - Take the Duty upon yourself To watch The Flank, (The MOst IMPORTANT DUTY OF ALL) then once you die have the team Ridicule you saying you did Nothing and you did not back them UP, After you got rushed by 3 guys who were working as a team flanking while your Team was Held up and decoyed by 1 single person who was blindfiring with his lancer so much he ran out of ammo so he pulled his shotty out and started firing like it was gonna hurt the Teammates!!!!

6. Final Not a Glitch just a Bitch - WHen its 2 -3 people on your Team and 1 person is left on the Other. You go in for the kill thinking your Team has your Back when all they are doing is Just STAYING BACK! Waiting for The last guy To RUSH THEM!!!!!!!!!! Why????!!!! So you Die, Then Finally the Other guy goes in and He dies, Then the last person Goes in and HE DIES!

Well-Known Fix - HAve 2 or 3 of you rush at the same time with Shotty and Blow him Into LIL pieaces!!!!!!

LMAO! Great bitches. This game is definitely about working together as a team. If you haven't added any of us to your Friends List do it now!! We always have a blast playing together and most of us (I won't name any names of those who don't) watch each other's backs!

So far only Rhino has had this happen to him that I know of. He was in the game and could pick up and exchange weapons, but once chosen, he could not choose any other weapons with the D-Pad.

KNOWN FIX: We did not test it enough to know whether it would fix it, but I'm guessing if he had dropped and come back it would have been fine.

I had this happen to me last night while playing Co-op. I tried getting 'killed' and revived... tried picking up new weapons... tried switching the controller I was using... even tried having us both get killed and reload from last checkpoint - nothing worked.

I finally just had to exit the game we were in, restart the co-op session and invite him back in. Then things were back to normal.

Usually I run ahead of my team expecting they are right behind me, I sure am surprised when I get downed

If you are unable to switch weapons, I think you can still chainsaw, even though you cant see anything happening. I think that happend with one of us one night. The death animation kicked in and everything, yet no gun was ever in the players hands. Funny!

There's all so another pro plamo on GOW.Sometimes when im playing on single player and some one sends an invite,and i try to reply to it the connection suddenly drops.

First of all Drizzle, welcome to PGL!

Anyway, something tells me that it's also more to do with the dashboard and the 360 interface. Because I know sometimes when I try to pull up the dashboard guide while in different games, occasionally will lock-up. I don't remember exactly what the circumstances are, but I know that it's happened a couple of times to me probably once to most other people too.

I know when I was doing co op with Dlitch the other night, I was not able to switch weapons. I fixed it by holding the appropriate direction on the D pad, and shooting with the gun you have wielded.

I went and got xbox live for my 360 and got a wireless headset as well but whenever I play gears of war online i cant talk or hear anyone. I have turned off mute and turned the volume up but it doesn't work. I thought it was the headset so i tried it on halo 2 and it worked perfectly. Please help.
