Gears of War Action Figures. Finally.
Now that these are finally coming out, as a fan of office toys (a.k.a Action Figures), I'm glad they've finally posted well lit pics of these bad boys. Those mood lighting shots they put out last week were just not doing it.
Now, thanks to BigBadToyStore, they have pre-release shots of all three of Series 1.
Based on Epic Games' hit Xbox 360 video game Gears of War, these action figures of Marcus Fenix, Dominic Santiago, and their Locust Horde Drone arch-enemies stand 7" tall and are fully-poseable with over 12 points of articulation. Each figure includes game-specific weapons and accessories.
Personally, I think they look pretty well done. 12 Points of articulation is pretty good too.
They also have a page up for the Sniper Variant, but sadly, no picture yet.

Cool. Speaking of this, why aren't there better Halo action figures out there?
And why in the world hasn't Bungie done a deal with Lego... Halo Lego sets would sell like hotcakes.

Halo action figures are being released in March by McFarlane, and they are much better looking than the Joyride ones.

Those figures would look sweet next to my Big Daddy. You know the one from Bioshock.

Vendors will probably be selling these cheap at Screamfest this year (October). I'll wait until then to snag a few up. I'm digging the Locust headshot one.

Absolutely, but that gruesome capture was one of the best parts of Gears multiplayer. I think I'm going to have to get it just because it's so damn cool.
