Ace Combat 6 Giveaway! What do the Miramar Air Show, PreGameLobby and Ace Combat 6 all have in common? Yep, free stuff.
By now you all have tried out the demo of Ace Combat 6 downloadable from Xbox Live right? Well if you haven't, try it out immediately. We had a thread here where people gave their feedback when it initially came out and talked about how awesome it was. Well launch date is on the horizon (no pun intended).
Ace Combat 6 is due for release on October 23, 2007. Yes, that is next week, and yes people are lining up already. I'm not sure what they're lining up for, but I'm sure there are lines somewhere in the world and I'm guessing a few of them are standing in line just thinking about Ace Combat 6.
Like I do every year, I attended the Miramar Air Show. This time on Sunday, October 14, 2007. I saw some awesome displays, got some awesome swag (well my son loved it anyway), and was surprised by a huge display from Namco Bandai for Ace Combat 6. They had loads of Xbox 360's set up highlighting the game. Some of the displays used the controller and two of them had sweet chair setups with flight sticks and thrust controllers. My son waited in line for those.
With 16 player dogfights on the way, I'm sure we will have some awesome vomit-inducing times in store for us all! Did anyone else get motion sick from the demo or was it just me?
While he was playing I got a chance to chat with a few of the developer and marketing guys from Namco Bandai who were at the event. I talked to them about PGL and invited them to stop by and visit. In Joon, their product marketing manager, hooked me up with some hats and shirts to give away to PGL members.
I have 4 hats and 3 shirts. The shirts are larges and the hats are adjustable. I'm trying to figure out the best way to give these away. How about this, we all rent jets at a local air strip and dog fight with some random person; live ammo. The people who survive will get a hat and shirt. Sound good?
Alright, dangitall, you all have to make it hard on me. But tell you what, I'm not deciding. You all get to decide. Do something; anything that lets us know that you want a hat or a shirt or both. If we like whatever it is that you've done, we'll hook you up. Remember, we have 3 shirts (Larges) and 4 hats (adjustable), so at least 7 of you can be sporting your fresh gear when you play Ace Combat 6 next week.

How about the first 7 people who send a pic of themselves with a copy of the game - the version that includes the flight stick?! THAT would seem pretty sincere to me (and, no... I won't be buying the game - I suck at flight games)!

I am not gonna decide what it is that you all need to do to win, I'm just gonna watch you all do whatever you want to do and then choose the top 7 things (whatever they may be). Good luck everyone!
And who knows, maybe if we do some really cool stuff In Joon will stop by and drop off a copy or two! We can always hope!
I'm sure all can think of something. It doesn't have to be anything spectacular; post a funny pic, create some PGL lyrics, tell us a joke, tell us you want a hat, profess your love for us... you name it, it can be an entry!
