General Preparation
Aural Immersion - Put the Halo CE and Halo 2 Vol 1 and 2 soundtracks on repeat. You should be doing this anyway. Nothing adds an epic feel to grocery shopping like "Rock Anthem to Save the World" on the Halo CE soundtrack
Significant Other
Conversion Cease-fire - Face it. Your significant other probably isn't interested in Halo. And you're not interested in "not playing Halo." So both of you need to agree to a Launch ceasefire and stop trying to convert each other away from or to the glory that is Halo. You may resume trying to convert each other after launch. Ignoring each other and not speaking for the days/ week after launch is to be expected. | |
