Xbox to Launch Rewards Program

That is great news Peench - funny - b/c when I first started playing 360 I was disappointed to find out that Achievements DID NOT = MS Points. I always thought that would be SO cool to be able to take the points I win in a video game and use them to getting stuff like Horse Armor or XBox Live Arcade games. A program like that would be AWESOME. You could even pay for it by having in-game advertisers sponsor certain achievements.

I have a stupid question, who is paying out the prizes on this program? From the article I was getting the impression it might be PGL.

Interesting enough, there is a rumor that MS might be doing this in the future, but as of yet, MS is stating "no" but implied it's looking into it. Here is the link from IGN on it: http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/759/759434p1.html

The prizes are going to be doled out by the companies that MS partners up with. The type, amount, etc. will depend on the given challenge.

This is going to be an MS and partner sponsored program that will reward Xbox 360 gamers for playing games. It doesn't get any better than that.
