Of course it's in any third-party publisher's interests not to rely on a single supplier, and a successful cross-platform market provides publishers with a much broader revenue base. But it's perhaps significant that Square Enix has been a long-time ally of Sony's hardware platforms ever since Final Fantasy VII appeared in all its CD-enabled CGI glory back on PSone. END QUOTE

It's refreshing to read this. They can be added to long the list of developers who admit its good to cater to them all. Just ask Capcom and the woes they endured keeping RE 4 on GC only for so long

Saying it and doing it are entirely 2 different things though. Lets see some real FF games on the 360 and Wii, not rehashed poop thats 3 years old.
