Oh yeah Peench! I remember sneaking Head-to-Head and the Wildfire game into grammar school and playing them when the teacher wasn't looking!

I stumbled onto this site, it brings back a lot of memories. My parents always seemed to buy a lot for me from Radio Shack. Anyone remember Epoch Man?

The first video games I played where in arcades.

As to what may have gotten me addicted to home gaming, it would either be my friend's Atari 2600 or my cousin's Atari 5800. The first gaming I did at home was on the Commador Vic20, and later the Commador64. I didn't get a Atari 2600 till I was in 4th grade I believe. I eventually have over 20 games for it. My grandmother got an Atari 2600 for when I was at her home during the summer (I have that system now, and I have switch box too).

Oh wow... that's way too cool. There's an old handheld Zelda game on that site that I didn't even know existed. Very nice find Eman!

Edit: There are a bunch of other cool things on there too. I think I remember the old Starfox wristwatch. I remember having a Double Dragon wrist watch, but I lost it.

I have two of the split screen Nintendo games. Greenhouse was one, and I can't remember the other. I've got them packed away somewhere. I just remember the case was black.

Those games were pretty fun. Unforgiving as can all be.

I had a pong game my dad had, then my grandpaw gave me his Oddesy console. Then after that the Atari 2600, and later upgraded to the C64...ahh the pirate years. I don't think I bought a single game during that era. Then my first actual console was a Sega Genisis. After that I was Sega's whore. If it had Sega on it I got it. I still have my Genisis, Sega CD, Saturn (**** that 32x what the hell were they thinking), Dreamcast(sniff sniff), and the Sega Nomad. After the Dreamcast died I got a PSx. Then I was a computer whore after that. Then the big black box showed up and I got a PS2 used. Then it was all 360 from there.

Atari 2600 all the way! I could take apart and fix the controllers in no time at all.

Speaking of fixing the 2600 controllers, I remember trying to make the paddle controller work. Sometimes it was too damn sensitive when playing Warlords or Breakout! LOL I did have a cool 3rd party controller that was ergonomic and fit right in the palm of my hand. It had a button on the side that I could just press with my finger. Then again the more I think about it, I think it was for my Nintendo. Ah the memories, some a little foggy! LOL
