GRAW/GRAW2 Sundays

I may be a little late tonight due to the College World Series game that starts at 4:00 pm PST/7:00 pm EST (North Carolina vs. Fresno State), but I will be there... Earlier if it looks like it'll be a blowout. I'm still shooting for 7:00 pm PST though.

There will be a guest or two tonight as well, so that should help out on the kill counts!

Okay, tonight I'll be trying out FFoW a bit before I jump on - no kiddie either so I can get into gaming a bit earlier tonight. I'll be on FFoW around 5 pst, and on GRAW 2 nlt 6:30 pst.

I'm throwing this out there: we either change all games to one death, or everyone agrees to go no farther than half the map for tonight as a test. This bullshit is making Sundays no longer fun (and I'm sure I don't need to go into details). It's seriously making me think I may quit playing.

We never had this problem until recently, and that's a shame. I won't go so far as to hit up the Shadowgay, but I do have some other singleplayer games I never really got into that I am considering using up my Sunday gaming time with (Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, a ps2 baseball game).

All I'm saying is, I'm getting sick of the crap that's been going on the last few weeks, with the attitudes, the tension, blah blah blah. I'm not giving up on GRAW 2 because I think it's fun - but it's quickly been losing it's appeal.

Don't have BBC and not planning on getting it. This "test" with FFoW will determine if it's a trade in, too.

Nah - I like that game even less; never really been a huge fan of it. Please don't throw out CoD4 next!

I'm going to stick to GRAW/GRAW2, I just want to crap that's been making it suck lately to stop.

If my two cents are worth anything, I had a blast playing CoD4 Friday night. And if playing Killhouse and Shipment showed me one thing, it's that GRAW doesn't have a map small enough to make a group of 20 grown men giggle like school girls for 15 minutes strait.

Other than a few instantaneous, I didn't think it was that bad. With larger groups, we have more diversity and thus differ opinions of what is within tolerable range. As bad as it gets some times, it's way better than the GP. Heck, M TheOry seems to always have my number and he's hardly ever on my team (he's also a better shot than me too). And look at the new girl, KeilyaA or whatever her name is, she's just gets it handed to her. I don't think she got one kill last week, and she's taking it stride.

I'm still having fun with the GRAW Sundays. I thinking your frustration with how other are playing may be getting the better of you. Don't worry, I'll share a six pack with you, LOL.

Maybe some other game types would be worth trying. I know GRAW2 is loaded with other types. I haven't been playing on Sunday with this group for very long, but I've generally seen Co-op objective or "slayer" or team "slayer" type matches. Has anybody tried any others that might shake it up a bit?

Well, maybe I'm just in a slump or something with gaming lately - who knows. I don't think it's the way anyone else plays really, just me ("it's not you, it's me lol).

Sadly, I can't make it tonight - other things have come up (again). I hope you guys still get it going though... I'll be posting for some make-up games later on.

Well, T (thornes), you miss some good ol' spawn camping and team killing on GRAW. LOL. LOSER!!!!

Actually, you would have liked it. Some of the sources of your frustrations, that I believe to be, did not make an appearance. It was a small showing overall. Got some in tough team matches; I didn't see where to shut off coppers.

On a side note, we did R6V2, and got my 500th kill, 8). Only about 22K exp till I hit major, LOL.
