This Tom bastard always seems to have my number in GRAW. And the other Tom can testify of me being livid about it. But it's just the game and I was just frustrated. Nonetheless, I still feel good when I shoot Tom G in the back, LOL.

I'd convert to the Euro, but I can't afford it.

It's all good, M... I don't even know where some of the spawn points are since I still haven't played on all the MP maps yet. Someone pointed out that most of the map's spawns are pretty much opposite of each other, so even if you haven't played a map, you could still get a pretty good idea of where the other team's spawn actually is. It seems we always had sort of an unwritten rule or understanding to sort of just "meet in the middle," and I think that alleviates most of the harsh feelings instead of boxing a team in so they have no other choice but to shoot from inside their spawn, or worse yet get shot while spawning infront of someone running through.

I think it was phrased best as the difference between a 'spawn perimeter' and 'spawn camping'. I simply think that if certain maps tend to get people all amped up, we should just not play those certain maps, I mean come on, GRAW has like 50 maps, we can skip a few that people get mad on.

Well when I host, a lot of times I have it set on shuffle... But there's no sense in skipping certain maps, imo - that's not really what the night is all about. Maybe just laying off the competitive 'tactics' a bit would go a lot farther.

I still don't know if I agree with that parimeter philosophy, anyway... I mean, if I can't take a step outside of my spawn because I know there's someone right there that's gonna take a shot at me, I'm gonna end up being forced to shoot from my spawn area, aint I?

Like I said, the 'meet in the middle' idea has always worked out well & we've pretty much done it like that since this began - with the exceptions of some maps which it's just impossible or impractible, then there's the occasional time it's just being a smartass.

The point is, we play this for fun every Sunday, & if anyone wants to suddenly start using the tactics/strategies the general public uses, then it pretty much defeats the purpose, doesn't it?

Yeah, it kind of does. I mean, I play for fun myself and like to get some achievments here and there...(if you couldn't tell by the boosting threads I started) I just hope it can stay fun, and some people who are too competitive all the time can leave that for the general public.

Someone go check on the doorman. I think he is asleep at his post.
I will be online for GRAW this Sunday. Can I suggest that we concentrate mostly on adversarial if we have enough people? I certainly don't mind doing the campaign maps if someone needs to finish off a couple, but they are wearing thin.

I have no problem with that. I need 195 more kills for ruthless. I highly recommend that my opponents NOT shoot back at me, 8).

Sunday night was strictly adversarial, I don't think we did any co-op. I will not be able to be there this Sunday, I will be out of town. Y'all will have to run up your kill count on somebody else!

Btw, is "Shadowrun" one of those collectible card games? My 7 year old nephew just loves those.

Gheyrun is hoping to be as cool as Dungeons and Dragons.

I wouldn't mind doing some team mission... I need the demo expert achievement.
