Anything that you can come up with and you want to discuss in the open, put it here. We'll mull it over, refine it and make it shine.
Don't be shy, let it out.

We rarely do any racing game stuff here at PGL. I think the War format would rock with racing games. I'm toying with an idea for the upcoming Forza 2 in which we'll split into street gangs/racing clubs/teams/whatever and duke it out for control of the streets. Everyone can paint up their own cars and race for control of the streets/tracks. We'll have adhoc challenges rather than 1 fixed time when everyone races at the same time, so FNFF will stay open for our traditional fragfesting.
The racing format will be cool in that it will allow for smaller teams and allow a variety of people to stay involved. We may even go with 3 or 4 clubs if we get enough signed up.
As far as the races, we can also vary the format. Combined team placing, winner-take-all, cat & mouse, multi-race events, derbies, relay races or baton-pass, etc. Heck, maybe even pink-slip races (wouldn't that be a beotch? ). I was also thinking we could battle for control of the official PGL car. Just a thought.
Let me know what you think and keep the ideas coming.

| I like the Forza idea. I think we definitely need to put in some Rainbow Six lovin' in the mix. | |

| Sounds like a blast! This would persuade me to get Forza2 also!
And yeah, I think we should have some GRAW2 and R6 loving in the mix.
I'm thinking that we should intersperse some shorter tourneys into the mix. Have definite drop dead dates and times to speed them up and allow us to complete them more quickly. And thanks for all of your hard work Quo!

I'd suggest picking three popular games (ie GRAW2, R6:LV, and Forza2 to add in a racing game), and have one Friday be GRAW, the next R6, the third F2, and so on. That way, the ones who want to do graw can, R6 fans don't have to do graw, etc etc...
This would also help out with the, "I can make it this Friday but not next" issue that I know I've been faced with; this way, you're on every three weeks instead of two on, one off. Unless you wanna do all three...
One other suggestion would be to create small teams for games like graw or R6 & just to like a "team A vs. team B" kind of thing.

FnFF just start too late for me but if there was a game @ 9:30 on a tuesday or wednesday or whenever I would play. But I know thats tough with all the time zones.
