Splinter cell DA tourny ?

I'm interested in setting up some sort of tournament similar to the GOW one but before anything goes ahead i want to see how many people would be interested in taking part in it. I'm thinking that multiplayer games would be awesome with PGLer's, and the ability to trash talk your opponent when you've grabbed them as a spy or when you've zoomed in on them as a merc would be hilarious.

So say if your interested and i'll try get something started.

WTF is Splinter Cell? Hey wait, I remember that game... just briefly. It became buried under 3 excellent games soon after its release.

I'd be down for this. I was very excited about this game, but never gave it the love it deserved. Hell, let's play tonight!

However, let me explain how bad of spies Lord Geoff and I are. When going through the co-op training on Chaos Theory we start out in a small room with a locked door. Geoff boosts me up to a ledge and I crawl into the second room. I go to open the door for Geoff but everytime I open it a crack, it closes again. I'm like WTF? So I kick the door open and see Geoff knocked out.

Sam: "Brother, ain't no time for napping on the job!"
Geoff: "Dumba**, you did this."

Apparently Geoff was just on the other side of the door and when I would open it, the door bounced off of him and closed again.

So we regroup and go onto the next room which I jump down a hole. A second later Geoff jumps down and, of course, I'm still standing there. Sure enough, I'm knocked out.

Two rooms into the training tutorial and we've both been KO'd.

It's true. We are the worst spies ever. And while we are on the topic, the game cheats! It's not uncommon for the following to be heard in out voice chat: "I have 2 mercs on blue." "I have 1 on yellow." "I have 2 on red... WTF?" I am always the "WTF?" guy. Splinter Cell hates my freedom. I am still in though.

Does this game have much of a following? I played SC CT with elite ronnie and andy all the time. I have yet to play or rent the new one. Is it worth $50?

I think it was cool but GOW sucked me away and I never got very far. This was one of the games I wanted to get back to in the near term but I keep buying new games. Darn having no self control sucks.

I'd say it's worth getting; the single player is really good although i haven't played much of it because i like the multiplayer so much.

Count me in on this one! Wish UbiSoft would have shown this games some more support after it's release as in the form of soome new maps. Just to clear it up we are referring to the 360 version and not the one for the original Xbox.

I still have this so I'd definitely throw it in. I don't know if I want the LORDS on my team though, I'm not trying to get owned by doors all night long!

I was gonna get this one, but the SP Demo didn't appeal to me at all. And I would never buy a Splinter Cell game for multiplay only. Now, if someone here can tell me the SP is good, I might just have to purchase it.
