SPEED TEST RESULTS THREAD
To help determine potential hosters for FNFF games, please visit www.speedtest.net and select the Dallas location to test against. Dallas seems about as central of a location as any, and this should give us a good expected average.
Post your results like this using the Forum link provided at www.speedtest.net

Here's mine from the house. Not much to write home about. Wood's looks much better...
Any just for clarity, what exactly are we looking for here? Pure speed, both up and down, low latency, all three?

I would say all three combined PLUS distance. If someone from one of the coasts is getting similar results to someone in Texas, then I would say go with the person further away with similar test results. Hopefully after a bunch of us post out results, it will be clear whom are best choices are.

yeah, Unseen, let's have everyone to the same central server. That way the comparison will be apples to apples.

The lower the latency, the better. Latency is basically the time your signal takes to get from point A to point B. High latency cause lag!
And like Quo said, everyone pick Dallas for comparison sake.
