Something that you all might want to remember is that those cable speeds aren't always guaranteed. You are sharing bandwith with your neighbors. That is why I switched to DSL so I can always get about 3 MB down, plus I always have a great upload. Now with some of the speeds you all are pulling I am sure you lower speeds are as good as mine though  I am just hoping I can get 6 MB dsl someday.

| I can't believe some of the results I'm getting from Comcast. I signed for the upper tier service, which is suppose to be 8mb up 1.5mb down. Down can get up to 16mb with speed boost.
My LAN is split into two networks. Thus two scores.
---less secured side---  
---mored secured side--- 
this is with the laptop connected via wireless card and ethernet port. 
I haven't figured out why it went down though. Just odd. | |
