| Wow Worm, that's freaking amazing. I don't think FIOS will ever make it to San Diego. Damn cable companies down here keep their monopoly and screw us all. | |

"..The mid-tier connection speed in those markets for new customers is being increased from 15/2 Mbps to 20/5 Mbps, and the basic service tier is being increased from 5/2 Mbps to 10/2 Mbps. Existing FiOS Internet customers who are interested in the new speed options can call Verizon for information about the new plans.""
FiOS starting the offering the new speeds yesterday. If they haven't automatically increased your speed by next week i would give them a call.

| Nuklhed, the difference you would see would really be in your hosting. Download would be more time to get large files would be decreased. If you do streaming videos stuff, you could do more of it at the same time with higher resolutions.
The upload, would mean larger rooms with less lag. Somebody seems to come on with a crappy ISP that causes some lag. The deathmatch, you're probably not going to see much, but for things like GRAW online co-op missions, you'll be able to host large rooms (and thus get a ton of FR for strangers). If your LAN setup right, you'll be able to do around 12-14 people on a GRAW co-op mission. It takes significantly more bandwidth to host online co-op mission.

The fact is, after playing 5-6 rounds on your connection it did not change a thing, we still won and with minimal effort Not knowing how to set up a room correctly tell me that you have no experiences being host and if you continue to host you will see what a real pain in the ass it is
My connection is not the best nor is it the worst. The good thing about it is my upload,it does not change much across the us and I don't have to worry about what time of day, it is it will stay the same
Host always has the advantage we all know this.GOW is messed up game it has so many problems that I hope will be fixed in GOW2.If it were me I felt that my connection was so bad and I was not having fun I would just leave and start my own room or join another friend's or kick my dog.Its all about having fun man and if your not having fun...why do it?

As of late I have normally hosted on graw sundays. So i have been around the block when it comes to hosting on xbox live / the pc community. All that redrum and myself are trying to say is whoever has the best upload needs to host thats it. we are not saying who has the bigger dick, its just who can host the best that is all nothing more

You need to be on around 7:30ish to start a room. Most of us won't switch rooms after that cuz it messes up the map rotation and weapon swaps.( you need to know your weapon swaps)thing that you don't understand is, I have been playing with Redrum for 2 year and he complains a lot about this and few people do so it tells me that it is more his connection then mine. Also something was strange last night cuz Prophet had a bunch of lag and he hardly ever does in my room.As a host you cant use the lancer unless it is the last thing to do,(talk about pissing people off). You can have the big dick cuz I've been with my wife for 13 years and I don't use mine any more You may have won a few rounds but you guys only won one game
