Friday Night Frag Fest Guidelines

When Friday rolls around, we try to have everything running as smooth as possible for the FNFF. This ensures that everyone can get into a match and the most can be made of everyone's time. To that end, here are the PGL guidelines for FNFF.

FNFF GUIDELINES

• Have Fun! - No bummers allowed.

• Prep Before Hand - Send out friend requests before that night so you're ready to go.

• Be Bold - Don't be afraid to ask for an invite. We try not to spam people with invites, so it's easy to overlook people.

• NO Long Messages - When you ask for an invite, a simple text message is the way to go. Just type "i?" and the requestee will know exactly what you want. A long, recorded message will only delay gaming, so leave the chat for in-game.

• Tolerance - Absolutely no racist, homophobic, or sexist language will be tolerated either in game or in the lobby.

• Your Friend May Get the Boot - If you bring a guest make sure they are respectful and mature. The host has discretion on who gets booted and who stays, so if your buddy is being loud, obnoxious, and annoying people, don't expect him to stick around.

• Strictly NAT - If you're having trouble connecting, check your NAT settings. If they're set to "strict", change them to "open". There's plenty of info on this here at the site.

• Persistence - If you still can't connect, keep trying! We'll get you in, be patient.

• Experiment - Unfortunately, everyone's favorite game isn't played every Friday night. We like to change things up. Join in and try something new! Usually the biggest groups are great times and something hilarious happens.

• Don't be a Crippler - If you're hitting the bathroom, it's cool, just mute your mic. No one needs to hear you.

• Luke, I am a Bother - Check how close your mic is to your mouth. No one can understand you when you sound like Vader in a match, so keep it at a safe distance. Ask for feedback from other people in the room if you're unsure how loud you are.

• Open All Night - FNFF is fluid. It starts at 10ish EST and can last until 5 AM EST. Unless there's a specific event, nothing is strict on timing. Jump in when you want, jump back out when you want! Don't stay out because you've only got a few minutes.

• Be a Leader - If players are scattered, start a room and TAKE CHARGE. Toss out some invites. Once you've met people, they'll join you. We're a friendly bunch.

• Expand the Family - Anyone's welcome! Invite a friend and let them know about PGL.

• Kill or Be Killed - Kill Peench, whether you're on his team or not. He's gonna do it to you.

• Have fun! - Again, this is what it comes down to. Enjoy yourself
