I dont think I've ever been in a room you were hosting Supa. It's not a personal slam just my observation on the general "not togetherness" of the PGL Tournies and such. I've only been in two, (touranaments and FNFF), as of yet and both times seemed a little chaotic. I talked a little bit with Peench about really locking in the tournies while he was up here for Picklejam when he asked us what we thought could improve the site and that was the only thing I could think of. I'd offer my help on anything you needed Supa but I think you have the situation under control and don't really need any. I'm at work right now but if you have any questions on what I think "really locking it in" means let me know.

I should have made this a PM but it would also be nice to know what other people think about the general situations of tournies and FNFF here. GO!!!

Yeah, way to go off-topic, Prophet. Jeez, why did I have to read your post? It had nothing to do with me, my tendonitis, or flatulating penguins, which is what we really should be talking about.

Way to go, man.

OK.
1: You need a new avatar.
2: Tendonitis is gods way of punishing you for years of chronic self pleasuring.
3: Nothing is more hilarious or topic worthy than flatuating penguins, I appologize.

PS> I still heart u 2 also

Tournies....I can't speak much on these as I have only been in a couple maybe. I know that Quo puts a lot of thought and time into them. The last King of the Hill event went well I thought. Quo did an excellent job of planning this and I thought the few of us hosting rooms that night did a good job of keep the rooms moving. The Vegas tourney that is going on seems planned out well by Thornes and is moving along nicely too.

As for FNFF games I have been volunteering to host/setup the last few weeks, I didn't think any of them were too unorganized. For me FNFF is just about getting a group of us together to just hang out and game. So with that in mind I don't fire up the next game right after a match finishes and I also try to check with everyone to see if we want to keep playing the same game type or mix it up.

I think the chaoticness that you are talking about is due to there being 10-15+ people in a room at once. With that many people there is going to be some confusion with just a few people talking at once.

Prophet send me a pm or give me a call (Pickle has my cell #) so you can tell me what you think will help make things run smoother

LOL don't hate on the avatar, man! Say what you will about the tendonitis pleasuring (spoken from experience, eh?), but leave Britney al... I mean leave the avatar alone!

Aren't FNFFs just for fun anyway? They're always crazy, but crazy fun, too.

I haven't been in that many FNFF myself; usually I don't have the popular game that everyone wants to play. I've been a few recently with GTA and R6V2, some of which were rather large. Sure there is some chaoticness to FNFF. It's just more because we play things by ear, people come on and off at different times, and so forth.

As for tournaments, I can't really comment, since the R6V2 is the first one I've management to actually participate in; usually don't have the game. In my opinion, I think they may have ran too long that they turned into chores for the participants, except for the hardcore fans of that particular game.

i think the FNFF's generally go pretty well, there have been a few moments in the past when i wonder if we're ever gonna get a match going, but nothing that would make me speak out about it. I enjoy the banter usually so its no big deal for me.

that being said, i practically had to go thru a real-life GTA 4 scenario just to find the game Friday night. I promptly put the game in when i got home, played a little single player for a bit (man, its hard to get the driving down!) then jumped into the MP, it was a blast, except for when Thornes ran me over when i was trying to get in his rig
