So it was like Batman Begin's, I clearly remember wishing his Batman voice wasn't so forced sounding. Micheal Keaton did an awesome Batman voice.

I really didn't mind her in the role its not like the character was that exciting in the first one but I thought Katie Holmes did a better job of playing it in the first one. Its surprising that a big movie like this couldnt bring her back a second time.

It wasn't that they couldn't bring her back, it's that she was so out of place in the first one. Maggie does a much better job in this one.

I guess that makes sense but really when you establish a character with an actor it is a lot easier for most people to make the connection between the two films if you dont replace the actor unless their horrible acting skills ruin the movie. Of coarse the batman series of movies has been the worst for changing of story lines and actors playing batman and it has been re-imagined quite a bit but this is a straight sequel to batman begins, there really is no point in interchanging actors if you can help it.

Sure, Maggie isn't my first choice for actress to pine after, but Katies holmes is dirty now, and not in a good way. She's played with Tom Cruise...she's ruined for all time.

Yep, there was something definitely cute about Rachel Dawes character that Katie's lacking these days so obviously she was not the answer but Maggie didn't seem to fit the part either IMO.

finally got to go see this today and i thought it was great, mighta been a tad long but it was just as good as Batman Begins. Heath's Joker was perfect. Jack Nicholson did a good job too, but his version was much more cartoonish IMO.

Maggie looks too much like her brother, she shoulda been wearing a cowboy hat and dating Heath Ledger. Her and Katie both bug the hell outta me. Kate Beckinsale FTW!


Any rate, i loved all the different routes the movie took. From Commissioner Gordons undercover role to all the different ways the Joker set up his diabolical plans , highly recommend this one for the big screen, i'll give it a 9

Katie Holmes has probably already been cloned by the cult she is in. I have always detested her anyway. IMO she was the worst part of Batman Begins.

I really like the part where he said there was room for aggressive expansion between those one guys homies and left them with a broken pool stick to fight it out.

I saw it again tonight. Even better than the first time. That's the thing I love about Chris Nolan's work. He can pull off a movie and make it re-watchable and even likely even better the next time.

Seeing the subtlety of the characters change was incredibly rewarding.

I still am going to see it for a third time in the IMAX theater in a week or two...

I ended up taking our son to see it yesterday, and it was fantastic! I'm still not sure that it's great for a 10 year old to see, but I was very proud of him. There were a couple of parts that he "looked away" a bit, but he had a great time and couldn't stop talking about the movie.

The character development is outstanding in this movie. The decline of Harvey Dent was done extremely well, and Heath's performance as the Joker is simply outstanding. Unfortunately, Maggie does absolutely nothing for me...
