Description
Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg) is the finest cop London has to offer, with an arrest record 400% higher than any other officer on the force. He’s so good, he makes everyone else look bad. As a result, Angel’s superiors send him to a place where his talents won’t be quite so embarrassing — the sleepy and seemingly crime-free village of Sandford. Once there, he is partnered with the well-meaning but overeager police officer Danny Butterman (Nick Frost), a huge action movie fan.

As a series of grisly accidents rocks the village, Angel is convinced that Sandford is not what it seems and as the intrigue deepens, Danny’s dreams of explosive, high-octane, car-chasing, gunfighting, all-out action seem more and more like a reality.

I've really been looking forward to this one. Saying that I liked Shaun of the Dead is an understatement. That movie was extremely excellent and well done. The guys behind that movie are also behind this one. Looks like it will be a riot! Simon Pegg even rocked in Mi: III!

Everytime I see the trailer I laugh. A few Shaun of the Dead injokes in there, love it.

Having seen this already (it was released over here over a month ago) i'd say it's definently worth watching but i think the trailer shows too many of the funny parts of the film, which means that when your watching the film you dont find it as funny because you've already seen them parts and know exactly whats going to happen.........

so if your gonna go and watch it DON'T watch the trailer, it will make going to watch it so much better.

I was wondering when someone would post about this. I thought Shaun of the Dead was hilarious so this appears to be my kind of movie. I laugh every time I see the trailer

Yep, that trailer is a riot. I doubt I'll see it in the theater becuase of babysitter issues, but it's a definite rental once it comes out.

I remember telling Wendy that it was like getting 3 pairs of shoes because you could buy them bigger, and then pump them up. When your feet grew, you would just let some air out. Amazing.

I had to drive an hour away to see this movie, but man was it worth it. Most fun I've had in a theatre in years.
