Last night was the first night of the "top 24" finalists. What'd you think of the performances?

I thought the majority of the guys just did NOT show up. Maybe 3 or 4 of 'em did OK, but the rest I thought were awful. I hope the ladies "bring it" tonight.

And, did you hear the "remark" made by Chris Sligh (the heavy, curly headed dude) to Simon about Teletubbies. Simon didn't take that too well, it seems. I hope they make up.

yeah, I thought it was awful performances. The Women better bring it tonight not to make it a complete waste. I could have been playing crackdown. I thought it was the best crack since I started watching the show. I like him and the beatbox guy the best although I wasn't impressed with their performances last night.

Yeah, I think "beatbox guy" had the best showing. Phil Stacy, the Sailor from Jacksonville, did good, too. I don't really like his personality, though. And, the asian fellas seem to be makin' a presence this time around. I don't remember that happening in previous seasons. I wonder if Jon Lui will try to make it sometime. (or maybe he already has...)

Meh, once you've seen one asian, you've seen 'em all!

I stopped watching American Idol a few seasons ago. It's just the same thing to me over and over again. I've gotten sick and tired of hearing Simon, Paula, and Randy make their dumb comments.

I've been into music my whole life, along with the rest of my family, and these people don't have talent to really impress me. Of course, it's not my style of singing so that also adds to reasons for me not to watch.

Ah well... to each his own!

I only watch the auditions for this show, those are the only things I can sit through.

I'll watch the finale though, that's always entertaining.

So, which female did the best last night? I only watched the 1st half hour, or so, then jumped into Crackdown.

I didn't watch it at all, watched NCIS and then did some Crackdown.

The last lady, a bigger black woman kicked arse. She made all 23 others look like amateurs. Hands down the best. I bet she woke the others up at least.

I saw the last two of them, Big Black Lady included, and from the clips that they were showing, they didn't hold a candle to that chick. She definitely had the presence and power that is needed to be an American Idol.

Ah, nothing like a controversy to mix things up a bit. Will there ever be a season when something like this doesn't happen? Those pictures are...interesting...yeah, that's it.

The "picture" girl is far from the best female voice right now. She was awful last week. We'll see how good she is tonight, though. I have a feeling those photo's are carrying her, right now.

Not really, DMill. The Barbarella girl, prolly 18 or 19 years old, was in some candid photos w/ some of her homegirls on the beach, topless. The small cans were covered, though. No need for anyone to post the pics here, though. I doubt it'll be mentioned on the show, since there's really no crime involved. And, when you think about it, it's nothing out of the ordinary these days.

Oh, and there were a few others shots, too. She was sittin' on the toilet in one. Not sure about the others.

Ok, I found them... Not impressed, I don't like her anyway and predict that she well be gone this week....
