| Gilmore Girls Now that I have your attention I have a question. Are any of the rest of you subject to the torture that is The Gilmore Girls? My wife watches the show and Tivo's it in the bedroom so she can watch it while I'm gaming. She's very cool that way. But on the nights I don't game and instead read a book in bed before going to sleep, I am subject to the show.
I say "subject to" because there is something about the show that bugs the living carp outta me. I'm not sure if its the fact that EVERYONE on the show is a "fast talker" (in Seinfeld speak), or the fact that EVERYONE in the show talks the same, or if it is because EVERYONE in the show has to have the wittiest comeback line for everything said in the show. What bothers me even more than those things is the fact that every now and again they will say something funny. I hate laughing at stuff that annoys me!
So I ask, can any of you share in my misery?

| I've sat through the show twice and couldn't understand what the heck was going on. Partially, for the fact that they were indeed "fast talker[s]". I dunno what it is about that show though... it definitely rubs me the wrong way! | |

| Is this show still on? I thought it was canceled and all the actors and actresses were burned at the stake. | |

| Good to see I'm not the only one! I told my wife I posted about her show. She said "Oh great, post and bag on my show." | |

B) I've never seen this show but one of the benefits of being married to a law student is she has about 5 hours a week to watch TV. That 5 hours is only filled with completely un-missable shows, and once they're filled, no slots are opened again until a show is canceled or on hiatus. I was already informed that when LOST returns she will be cutting American Idol from her diet.
I saw this show once but I don't hover on the WB long enough to hear a sentence finished.

My wife gives me grief (jokingly) about playing video games in my mid-30s, but I don't consider anything worse than those inane reality shows that she loves (well, maybe Sex in the City is worse, but that's about it).
