I really dug Narc and his short film Ticker, so I think this will be a fun ride, although I don't think there will be much of a plot from the looks of a trailer. Looks like a bit of a departure from what Carnahan was used to doing, but visually it looks fun, so why the hell not?

I saw a rough cut of this about 5 months ago, and unfortunately, didn't like it.

At the time, it was terribly paced, and very uneven. Now, I'm fully aware that many changes have been made in editing, but I don't think the material underneath was solid enough in the first place.

Now I wanted to like this. I worked on the stage next door to where they filmed it, which was sweet. But I just couldn't. It left a lot to be desired.

Oh, and Andy Garcia SUCKED in this thing. His accent went from Southern to New York progressively through the film. I have no idea what he was thinking, or what the director was thinking for letting it continue.

Wow, that would be terribly disappointing with the cast of characters I see in it, I hope its not one of those movies where they just put so many notables in it that an actual lack of story gets lost in the commotion. Jeremy Piven looks promising in this role, and I was banking on Ray Liotta and Andy Garcia doing their usual thing. So I guess we'll see....

I liked Ray and Jeremy. They were fine. It's the movie itself that wasn't....and I couldn't stand Alicia Keys' character.

I guess if you go in knowing that you're getting a popcorn flick and not much more, then you'll be okay. I just thought I was going to get much more.

On a somewhat related note - has anyone noticed the new ads in Rainbow Six Vegas for this movie? We were playing co-op last week and saw new ads up in the game for this. Pretty cool.

Waiiiiit... so the ads in R6 are dynamic? Excellent.

Ya know... I've only seen the trailer a few times, but I feel like it won't be very good. It just seemed to be a bit too cliche. Maybe there will be enough cool action to make up for it, but we'll see. My friends want to see this, so I'm sure I'll tag along. I can't say no to a moviefilm.

Yeah, I really like the idea of dynamic ads. Makes Vegas feel more real, plus, who doesn't wanna shoot Lindsay Lohan in the face(I just opened the door for Brew) or just C4 her new movie poster.

Initial thought....Meh....it is what it is. My only problem was that a gentleman had brought his 3 kids to see the movie....if you've seen the movie then you could understand why it was alittle unsettling. It's a fun movie but definitly not a must see in the theatre type of movie.
